Tour Overview – North India Tour
Experience the highlights of North and Central India on this 9-day tour, covering Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho and Varanasi. Begin in Delhi with visits to the historic monuments of Old and New Delhi, including Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Qutub Minar and Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.
Continue to Jaipur, the famous Pink City, where you will explore Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal. Travel onward to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri to discover the magnificent Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula. The journey then continues to Orchha and Khajuraho, with visits to historic palaces and the renowned Eastern and Western Group of Temples. Conclude the tour in Varanasi with the evening Ganges Aarti and an early morning boat ride on the sacred River Ganges before returning to Delhi.

Daily Itinerary
Arrival in Delhi transfer assistance at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast. In the morning start the city tour, visit old Delhi – Photo stop at Red Fort: the red stone wall fort, Jama Masjid: largest mosque in India and Raj Gath: The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated. In New Delhi visit - Laxmi Narayan Temple: Garishly coloured modern temple is erected by the industrialist Birla. Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Rajpath, India Gate: The 42m high stone "Arch of Triumph", erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who died in First World War. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan & Parliament House. Qutab Minar: The building complex dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in India and are fine examples of Afghan architecture. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check in at hotel. PM - Visit Birla Temple to see evening prayer ceremony and Albert hall for photostop. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Breakfast. Full day city tour : Excursion to Amber Fort, with a joy ride on an Elephant. Afternoon visit City Palace which was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It also house sequence of gardens, courtyards & buildings with a mix of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar - the royal observatory a World heritage site, built by Maharaja Jai Singh, also do a photo stop at Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds and bazaars.
Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Breakfast and check-out. Drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, It was the capital of Emperor Akbar, this historic site was founded by Akbar the great. Later proceed to Agra and check-in at hotel. PM - visit Mother Teresa ashram & Itmad-ud-Daula. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Breakfast, Full day sight-seeing of Agra, visit the Taj Mahal – constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj has continued to be a mark of love since ever. Lunch at a restaurant. Visit Red Fort – it is positioned on the banks of Yamuna River. It is known as Red Fort because it is built of a kind of red sandstone. You can also visit inside some of the most beautiful structural designs of the Mughal Period Pearl Mosque, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam and Jehangiri Mahal. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Breakfast and check-out from hotel, transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi express train to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi, you shall be driven to Khajuraho via Orchha. Visit Raja Ram Temple, Royal Palace, Jehangir Mahal, Chhatarbhuj temple. Later proceed to Khajuraho, upon arrival check-in at hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Breakfast, later enjoy the sightseeing trip to the Eastern & Western Group of Temples. These groups of temples represent some of the finest examples of Chandela art at its peak.
After the visit to temples transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi. Arrival transfer assistance and transfer to hotel. Evening visit the river Ganges ghats to see Aarti – evening prayer ceremony. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
AM – Early morning boat ride on river Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast.
Transfer assistance from hotel to airport to take flight for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi transfer from airport to local restaurant for dinner. Afterwards transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
