DAY 01 AMERICA/EUROPE - DELHI

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by a representative of Viajes Diva India. He will take you to the hotel in a private car. Check-in and accommodation at The Oberoi-New Delhi hotel.

DELHI: the modern capital of India is also an ancient city whose origins are lost in legend. Hundreds of monuments adorn it, with its carved and ancient history. From this city numerous Hindu and Muslim dynasties, including the Mughals, ruled India. No less than 7 successive cities existed here before the arrival of the British, who would create, with the help of Sir Edwin Lutyens, their dream capital.

DAY 02 DELHI

Breakfast. Visit of Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, in the heart of old Delhi. Later we approached the Raj Ghat, where Gandhi was cremated, to continue with a panoramic view of the government buildings along the Raj Path and the imposing India Gate. Lunch in the city. We will also visit the Birla Temple and the Sikh Temple. To complete our tour we visited the impressive Qutub Minaret World Heritage Site. Hotel accommodation.

DAY 03 DELHI JAIPUR

Breakfast. Departure by road to Jaipur, the Pink City where the emblematic faade of the Palace of the Winds is located.

JAIPUR: The pink city of Rajasthan. Jaipur is perhaps one of the most picturesque cities in the world. It was built according to the canons of the Shilpa Shastra, the ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Divided into seven rectangular sectors, with well-designed, right-angled streets, its planning is a marvel of 18th century urban planning, when not even in Europe did a similar systematization exist. Surrounded by steep hills on three of its cardinal points, the city is guarded by a powerful fortified wall, with seven gates.

Arrival and check-in at the Oberoi Raj Vilas hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Albert Hall Palace/Museum and the Birla Temple. Night in hotel.

DAY 04 - JAIPUR/AMBER/JAIPUR

Breakfast. We will drive through the residential and business areas of the pink city, passing in front of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), one of Jaipur's best-known monuments. Next, we will go to Amber Fort, the former capital of the State until 1728. A unique experience: we will climb on the backs of elephants to access the top of the hill on which the fort stands.

Next, panoramic tour of Jaipur (named after Maharajah Jai Singh, prince and astronomer, who designed and founded the city in 1727). We will visit the astronomical observatory that the monarch himself built, equipped with instruments designed by himself, of considerable size, and whose precision is difficult to match even today. We will also visit the Maharaja's Palace, a former royal residence and today a museum of manuscripts, Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons.

Accommodation at Oberoi Raj Vilas hotel.

DAY 05 JAIPUR RANTHAMBORE

Breakfast. At 08:00, departure to Ranthambore National Park (closed from July 1 to September 30), famous for its Tigers. Ranthambhore National Park is one of the best examples of Project Tiger in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.

Ranthambore park has an area of ??392 km2, is surrounded by two rivers, the Chambal and the Banas, and includes 6 artificial lakes. 300 types of trees, 50 aquatic plants, 272 species of birds, 12 different reptiles and 30 mammals coexist in the park. DAY 06- SAFARI IN PARUQE RANTHAMBORE

We are going to go on the first safari in Ranthambore National Park around 6 in the morning.

This park was formerly a hunting area for the maharajas of Jaipur, but it has been converted into a paradise for wildlife lovers. Among all the fauna and flora of the Ranthambore park, what attracts tourists the most is the possibility of seeing tigers and leopards in the wild. Return to the hotel and breakfast.

After lunch, we will go on another safari to explore the park again in search of the tiger.

DAY 07 RANTHAMBORE Abhaneri FATEHPUR SIKRI AGRA

ABHANERI This is Chand Baori, a famous stepwell located in the village of Abhaneri near Jaipur, in the state of Rajasthan. It is located in front of the Harshat Mata temple and is one of the largest and deepest in India. It was built in the 9th century and has 3,300 steps, 13 levels and 100 feet deep

Reconstructed in the 10th century, the incredible Chand Baori stepwell was a practical solution to the water problem in this area of ??India, where the arid climate forced local inhabitants to dig deep in search of underground currents. According to legend, the building was built by ghosts in a single night.

FATEHPUR SIKRI: Just over 40 km from Agra is the dead city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned due to his inability to provide it with a water supply. The city's buildings are incredibly preserved, notably the Jama Masjid mosque, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal and other places.

It took artisans from Persia, the Ottoman Empire, France and Italy, helped by 20,000 workers, 17 years to complete it ( ATTENTION: THE TAJ MAHAL CLOSES ITS DOORS ON FRIDAYS, A MUSLIM HOLIDAY ).

Next, we will visit the Agra Fort, on the banks of the Yamuna River, in the heart of the city. It reflects Indian architecture under three Mughal emperors: Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan.
